We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Maintenance Supervisor for a leading role in our dynamic manufacturing team. This role is crucial to ensure the smooth running of our operations, as you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and optimization of our high-tech machinery and systems. Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
1. Overseeing the maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment, including PLC systems, lathe, mill, pneumatic systems, and other machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. 2. Leading a team of maintenance technicians, providing them with guidance, training, and support to ensure they are able to perform their duties effectively. 3. Developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and performance. 4. Troubleshooting and repairing electronic and robotic systems, and coordinating with external service providers as necessary. 5. Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and quality control standards, and fostering a culture of safety and quality within the maintenance team. 6. Monitoring equipment performance and making recommendations for improvements or upgrades. 7. Participating in cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in maintenance within the manufacturing industry. 2. Extensive knowledge of PLC systems, lathe, mill, and other manufacturing equipment. 3. Proven experience with machine maintenance tech, pneumatics, preventive maintenance, and equipment maintenance. 4. Strong understanding of electronic and robotic systems. 5. Strong supervisory skills, with a proven ability to lead and motivate a team. 6. Solid knowledge of quality control principles and safety compliance in a manufacturing environment. 7. Excellent mechanical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of equipment. 8. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think quickly and make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment. 9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members at all levels of the organization. 10. A relevant technical qualification would be advantageous. 11. Bachelors Degree preferred
